Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026

Last updated: June 4, 2026

1. Who we are

Hovra.co (the “Service”) is operated by Anmi Studio LLC, a New York limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”). We operate the website at hovra.co and provide AI-powered tools to help US homeowners plan and manage renovation and construction projects. If you have questions about this policy, contact us.

2. What data we collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password.

Project data: We store the project details you enter — project name, type, description, budget range, location, and preferences. This is necessary to provide the service.

Tool outputs: We store the AI-generated content created when you use Hovra.co tools (Budget Reality Check, Materials List, etc.). This is necessary to let you return to your project and see your previous outputs. Q&A conversations are not stored — they exist only during the live session and are not persisted after you leave the page.

Usage events: We collect detailed records of how you interact with the service — which tools you use, when you ask questions, token counts for API calls, and events related to payments and upgrades. These records include a short preview (first 100 characters) of each Q&A question you ask, used for product debugging and quality analysis. We use this data to operate the service, analyze costs, detect abuse, and improve the product. We do not use this data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number or banking details. We receive a confirmation record from Stripe when a payment is completed.

Contact form messages: If you contact us via the contact form, we receive your name, email, and message.

Anonymous pageview analytics: We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. This covers anonymous visits to pages like the homepage and /learn articles.

Meta Pixel data: When you visit any page on Hovra.co, the Meta Pixel sends the following data to Meta Platforms, Inc.: the page URL visited, your IP address, browser type and version, device type, and referring URL. This data is used for advertising measurement and audience insights. See section 6 for full details and opt-out options.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Hovra.co service
  • To generate AI-powered content tailored to your project
  • To facilitate payments through our payment processor (Stripe) and send payment confirmation emails
  • To send transactional emails (welcome email, payment receipts)
  • To respond to support requests sent via the contact form
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product
  • To measure advertising performance via Meta Pixel (page visits and technical device data only — see section 6)

We do not sell personal data. Account, project, and usage data are not used for advertising. Meta Pixel shares certain technical data with Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement — see section 6 for details and opt-out options.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate Hovra.co. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Supabase — database and authentication. Stores your account and project data on secure, encrypted servers.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Handles all card transactions. We never see your full card number.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Used to send welcome and payment confirmation emails.
  • Anthropic (Claude API) — AI content generation. Your project details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate tool outputs and answers. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — hosting and analytics. Provides infrastructure and privacy-first, cookieless analytics.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel) — advertising measurement. The Meta Pixel sends page view data (page URL, browser info, device info, IP address, referring URL) to Meta when you visit Hovra.co. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies

Hovra.co uses two types of cookies. Authentication cookies keep you logged in to your account — these are session-based, necessary for the service to work, and do not track you across other websites. Advertising cookies are set by the Meta Pixel: _fbp is a first-party persistent cookie that identifies your browser for advertising measurement, and _fbc is set only when you arrive at Hovra.co from a Meta ad link. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. See section 6 for Meta Pixel details and opt-out options.

6. Meta Pixel and advertising

Hovra.co uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking script provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The pixel fires on every page load and sends the following data to Meta: the page URL visited, your IP address, browser type and version, device type, and referring URL. Hovra.co uses this data to measure ad performance, build advertising audiences, and understand which pages people visit after seeing ads.

Hovra.co does not load the Meta Pixel for visitors from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where additional consent requirements apply. If you are visiting from one of these regions, the cookies and data sharing described in this section do not apply to your visit.

Meta may use this data in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies set by the pixel: The Meta Pixel may set a first-party cookie named _fbp to identify the browser across visits, and a cookie named _fbc if you arrive at Hovra.co by clicking a Meta ad. Both cookies persist for up to 90 days.

How to opt out:

  • Browser settings: Disable third-party cookies, use a privacy-focused browser or extension (such as uBlock Origin or Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection), or enable “Do Not Track” in browser settings.
  • Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/ads/preferences (requires a Facebook account).
  • Industry opt-out tools: optout.aboutads.info or youradchoices.com.

Hovra.co does not sell personal information collected through the Meta Pixel or otherwise. For privacy questions, email contact@hovra.co.

7. Data retention

We retain your account, project data, and tool outputs for as long as your account is active.

When you delete a project, all related data — project details, tool outputs, and associated usage events — is removed from our active database within minutes. Routine encrypted backups maintained by our database provider may retain copies for up to 30 days, after which data is permanently purged.

Usage events that are not tied to a specific project (such as account-level actions) are retained indefinitely for product analysis, unless you request deletion of your account.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us via the contact form. We will make reasonable efforts to process your request within 30 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us.

9. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Supabase encrypts data at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Hovra.co is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Do not sell or share personal information

Hovra.co does not sell personal information. However, the Meta Pixel shares certain technical data with Meta Platforms, Inc. for advertising measurement purposes, which may qualify as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state statutes.

California residents and residents of other applicable states have the right to opt out of this sharing. To do so, email contact@hovra.co with the subject line Do Not Share. Hovra.co will disable Meta Pixel for sessions associated with your account within a reasonable timeframe. Note that Hovra.co does not currently have automated opt-out tooling; requests are handled manually and typically processed within 15 business days.

This opt-out applies only to data sharing via Meta Pixel for advertising purposes. It does not affect data collected for service operation (account data, project data, Vercel Analytics).

13. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us.
